12 @ 1 and 12 @ 2 Projects

Background

The idea is to create two pairs of 12 panoramas, 12 on the 1st of the month at one location and 12 on the 2nd of each month at another location.  The first series is of a quiet bay close to Lerwick, Shetland and the second series is of Victoria Pier in Lerwick.

It's been a bit of an effort so far managing to be in the same places at the right times but I've managed it by being ruthless with my diary and those who would have me do other things or go other places at the appointed times - in fact I didn't realise just how many other things would crop up until I started!  I'm now well past the half way point and with any luck I should manage the rest of the year.

Once all 24 panoramas are created I intend to then join them all together vertically to create 2 images that show the changing face of parts of Lerwick over a full year.  Check back later in the year to see how the final images work out.

Update
I finished taking the photographs for these projects without a hitch.  Now the real work begins to compose all the images (about 250 in all) into two finished works.  I hope to be able to display the first one on the site early in the New Year.
