Austin Taylor is a freelance photographer based in Shetland, UK. His business is the creation of stunning photographic images of Shetland, its wildlife and events as well as travel photography, commissioned work and other projects. Whilst much of his work is from Shetland he has a wide range of images from elsewhere in the world. All images on this website are available as prints or licensed for commercial or other use but represent just a sample of his available library stock.
Austin's work has featured in a number of publications, has won a number of photographic competitions and he held his first exhibition during 2008. Please contact us to discuss your ideas and requirements.

3 July 2009 We have added a New Gallery of Tern Photos today and will add more galleries in the coming months.
9-27 July 2009 We will not be updating the site or processing orders for much of July - most of that time we'll be capturing exciting new images to add to the Travel Gallery later in the year. Any new orders will now be processed after our return - please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
7 July-18 August 2009 2 of our images are on display and for sale at the Gilbert Bain Hospital as part of the Islesburgh Photographic Club exhibition. The images are Aurora over Hay's Dock and our new Common Seal at Skippidock image.
